During normal gun fights the action felt tense and dynamic. These tactics didn't work all the time however. For example, run into an area I know will spawn enemies, flank round the side and just take them out before they have time to react, rather than playing it slow like the game wants you to play. I did find myself using tactics like this as they worked surprisingly well in some situations. It would often be a valid tactic to run into the enemy, take a few out, die and then have the medic revive you as your other squad mates roll in and kill off the Japanese. I mostly found my teammates competent but a few instances left a little more to be desired. While it is possible to sometimes regain your health via health packs, you will mostly be relying on your medic buddy to heal/revive you when the time permits it (4 times per level). It has been a long time since I have played a shooter that has this feature, rather than regenerating health. It was also convenient as the game runs rather well on my crummy laptop.įirst of all I want to say how refreshing it is to play a game that has a dedicated health bar/numerical value. Luckily MOH came along was was able to help. However, even when on sale these games are still at least $10 and I don't have a huge amount of cash to be plashing about. Originally I was thinking of getting a classic Call of Duty game, or maybe even World at War. About a week ago MOH:PA was free on Origin for EU countries (it may still be) so I thought I would download it and give it a shot. So I had this gaming itch recently to play a simple shooter that isn't too taxing, basically something to relax with. Now before I do I must say that I have never played a MOH game before to my knowledge (at least not all the way through). So I just finished MOH:PA after downloading it for free from Origin and I wanted to express my opinion on it.
